Heather Sweeney, Counseling Intern, Surprise Office & Online

Heather is currently enrolled in a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program at Walden University, where she is broadening her expertise in different therapeutic practices and techniques. Heather has about a decade of experience as a Rehabilitation Counselor, where she has committed her career to providing services to those with mental, physical, and emotional disabilities. Before that, she assisted individuals with disabilities, providing Habilitation and aiding in ABA services. Her professional journey shows her commitment to helping others. 

Heather utilizes her innate ability to listen empathetically and provide support to those in need. She finds satisfaction in encouraging others and giving comfort. She believes that everyone deserves to be heard and has a place where they don’t feel judged. She believes that life is something where people continue to grow throughout and enjoys helping individuals with that.
